Swimming

After spending half a day at Magic Kindgom, we met some friends from buffalo and went to their hotel and let the kids swim.
They had a blast!

When I asked G his favorite part of the trip, he said swimming.
(mental note, next time go swimming instead of disneyworld-okay, never mind, I had a great time)
We had a great time!

Animal Kingdom and Epcot

We had a great time at both the animal kingdom and epcot.
We hadn't been to either and it was neat to see them

At the animal Kindgom we were watching this big tank with fish swimming in it and then this huge hippo swam by, it was sweet.

We loved this part of Animal Kingdom. We went on a safari and saw some great animals.

Orlando Temple

We surprised the kids with a well deserved trip to ORLANDO.
Oh, the GLORIOUS SUNSHINE!
It was a 17 hour drive and we wondered about our sanity of driving, but the kids did so
AMAZING!
they didn't make a peep.
They kept busy watching shows, playing leapsters, listening to stories and coloring.

We stopped at the Orlando Temple, it was gorgeous!

So happy to be in the sunshine.

K pretending to fall into the fountain

I love this picture.
J is doing bunny ears to herself.

The Temple here was so pretty against the bright blue sky.

Magic Kingdom

I love this pictures of K, he was SO happy!
He loved being in the sun. In fact, he said, when he is a 'grown-up' he is moving to Florida, I may have to join him. I agree completely!

Fun on the rides.

WELCOME! To the MAGIC KINDGOM!

It was so fun, some of our friends from buffalo happened to be making a trip down at the same time. We got to spend two days with them. K had a great time seeing old friends.
This is how G spent watching 2 parades, curled up in the fetal in a stroller.
poor kiddo was so tired!

This was how K and G spent watching the parade, so happy to have popcorn.

Getting ready for a great 3-d show.

On the ferry to the Magic Kindgom.
K was little nervous a storm would kick up and we would capsize. I LOVE him! Needless to say, he didn't want to take it back.

Clearwater Beach

We also took a 2 hour drive to find the beach, so worth it!
The kids had a great time wading, collecting shells and looking at decaying fish bodies on the sand (what can I say, we have 2 boys).

It was a fantastic day!
(minus the ghetto park we stopped at for lunch where we were surrounded by houses where windows were covered with bars and people staring at us)
We didn't stay too long.

J ended up soaked to her waist, if you can image.
Her pants were dripping, but she had a great time.

The boys collected tons of shells. It was their favorite part. They had huge bags full, we let them pick their favorite 10 and leave the rest.

New house

As promised, here are pictures of our house.

This first pic is of our family room. It's not the best picture, in fact, I should have left it off, but I love the hard wood floors.

This next picture is of the stairs. I love the dark handrail and the yellow walls.
I love the character this house has!

Dining room. Nice and big. We need something to spruce it up a little, and I wouldn't have chosen the chandelier but........

One of the greatest rooms for me is this kitchen! If only I had pics of our kitchen in Buffalo, with my 8 inch wide pantry (that some mistook for a broom closet), and 2 feet of counter space, I feel so glorious when I'm in here!
The kids rooms are all nice and big and plenty of space.
We have a toy room and I have a little craft room.
We just added light fixtures to ceiling fans which makes it even better!
We love this house.

Coming Next

Next post will be pictures of our new house in PA. I LOVE it! It's an 1850's farm house that has been completely renovated. It has great character and fits our family perfect. It's great!

Lasts

Moving....
to PA.
The second worst part of moving is packing,
the FIRST worst thing is saying goodbye to friends who were like family.

The kids and their friends

We made so many great friends in New York. We are going to miss you SO much!
You made our time there great! You were our support and family away from family.
Thanks for your friendship! You have touched our lives in so many ways.
We will miss you more than you know.
Thank you so much!

I had to get a picture of K getting on the bus for his last day of school.
It was -7 outside when he left. Bbbrrr....
