a few of our firsts

my hubby got himself a new grill. an old school, charcoal grill. first attempt- naan bread and tandoori chicken.mmmmm

 some people from our church had us over for dessert one night. this is where we found these two kiddos. chillin' on the parents bed watching tv.

what we've been doing...

going to the park and enjoying these little gems. getting ice-cream on our way.

 took the kids to a fun school night. got to play in colored foam...that eventually turned  a gross brown. love Gs face here, never even noticed it until now

 the put glow sticks in balloons and turned off the lights and let the kids run around and dance to music.

 they painted fish rocks.

 got to see these two grey PA peeps. two amazing women.

 a hummingbird was stuck in our shed. my kids were amazed

 b caught a lizard at the park. he's quick

 got me some new running shoes. holla! just like my old ones-but half what i paid for them. 

 i made lots of cupcakes. lots and lots. for 2 birthday celebrations (even though one is in the summer and the other in the fall....)

adjusting to life here pretty well... missing our old friends a lot. 

museum

i got to go with G's class to the natural history museum. he loved it. it was right up his alley.

there was one little boy in our group who wanted to go through the museum in fast forward, g wanted to go through it in slow motion. had to find a balance. great day!

 he was picking it's nose.. pretty amused by himself.

he loved all these rocks and took a 2 1/2 minute video on my phone.

we got to see a 3D movie.

glad these two got to go the other night and do some family baptisms. 

k loves going and always comes home so excited!
