The Epic Waterfight

The elders in our area came up with the idea to have a massive waterfight. They showed up on their p-day and they were ready for battle. My kids were SO excited. The elders kept coming. there were 3 sets that showed up. It was intense. Water and balloons flying everywhere! 3 hours, 100 waterballoons, gallons and gallons of water and 9 dozen cookies later, it finally came to an end.
It was a great day!

J thought it ended great when our neighbor brought over their grandkids dog.
so tired from an exhausting day

Hill Cumorah/ Watkins Glen/Robert H. Treeman

We recently attended the Hill Cumorah Pageant.
I forgot how much I loved it there! It has such a great atmosphere. This was the only picture of the kids that I got, because we got there kinda late.

We spent the night in our newly acquired tent trailer. It was perfect! Two king beds and two others. The kids were over the moon with excitement. Great fit for our family.

The two babies loved sleeping in it. They were up early, which meant, everyone was up early. :)

We spent the next day hiking with our friends at one of our favorite (and most beautiful) trails. Watkins Glen.
There must have been something going on that weekend, because the trail was packed! In 4 years of hiking it, I have never seen that many people on the trail.
It was still just as beautiful!

I have a pic of J doing the same thing and trying to reach the water when she was about this same age.

This apple kept B occupied for a while, until I realized all he was doing was chewing the apple up and then spitting it out.

The kids also enjoyed swimming at Robert Treeman State Park. The water, shall I saw, was LESS than warm. The kids would quickly dip in and then come right back out.

All except for this little mermaid, she dove right in and stayed in for a while. She loves to swim!
She also loves to pose

Part of the group of kiddos
The kids also love to visit this park and play around.
Never mind the wedding party coming through
This is one of our favorite spots that we have found. We love meeting friends there and seeing the beauties that New York has to offer.

Bluberries

who can resist blueberries? we cant!!!!
this kiddos had a great time picking blueberries. I think they picked 4 lbs. pretty great job, and it only cost $7.41. I even had baby C in a front pack and she would reach out to the blueberry bush, grab a blueberry and eat it.
We even got some delicious blackberries

never get tired of seeing these buggies going down mainstream traffic!

messes times 2

B is constantly exploring his environment...most of his explorations end in  a mess

baby C has started to join him

just keep swimming

nothing says summer like swimming with friends!
the kids made a whirlpool (the pool is circular, and they all just kinda floated around)

bounce house

Enjoying a day of bouncing fun!
Baby C just enjoyed an apple :)
