outside

don't you love summer time. i do. summers in east are delightful.
we have been enjoying picnics at the park, climbing around, feeding ducks, going to the skate park and enjoying the sun.
i love getting out.

love these three snuggled in my bed watching the iPad while i shower. i would dare say it's one of their favorite times. (free reign of the not very easily accessed iPad.)

many hands make light work...

a few weeks ago, our stake held its annual mormon helping hands. i really do enjoy going to these. yes, its a sacrifice, especially when it's a 2 hour drive, when you have little kids, when you have other things your really NEED to be doing, but I honestly always feel blessed when we go.
this year, i was feeling a little off, so i stayed home with my baby. (I make it sound like she's  a baby, she's almost 3, but will always be my baby). it was so fun being one on one with her. we have never had that. we went to the park and had ice cream. she is such a funny gal.
anyway, back to helping hands. c said it was a blast. they camped the night before and then did service at the park they stayed at. b and j were in heaven-searching for bugs and worms.
glad our kids get these opportunities.
